Argghhhh and Polly Want a Cracker?

As I write this blog we are still basking in a post-Christmas glow but I couldn’t NOT write about my adorable…umm I mean terrifying, pirate and his little parrot.  As is the tradition in the Vendetti-Pelletier home we started things off with our annual Halloween extravaganza.  Fun was had by all.  The boys ran around like crazy men allowing the adults to enjoy each other’s company.  Old time games like potato sack racing, donuts on a string, and bobbing for apples were a hit. Our good friend Tuck proved himself to be a champion apple bobber (seriously the kid’s got some mad skills) and all the kids mastered the trick of “let’s eat as much candy as we possible can without our parents noticing.” In the end a great time was had by all and a Vendetti-Pelletier tradition was continued.

On the actual night of all hallows eve we were joined by our friends Annie, and her parents, and Mez, and her parents. We did a tour of our little neighborhood, which somehow took FOREVER and yielded entirely too much candy. Besides one neighbor who took Halloween a little too seriously the kids were in heaven. But what is not to love on a night you get to stay up late and have your neighbors hand you free candy?
